About

Hello…I’m Lynda and I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in London. I photograph weddings all over the UK – Orkney included!

I have been working as a photographer for over 12 years now…and I love It!  I shoot in a non obtrusive way, documenting the day as it unfolds and as it is – telling your story and capturing those beautiful and natural moments which make your day so unique.  I see magic everywhere and in moments that may pass others by, so as well as covering the important bits of the day, you will get a beautiful collection of images which show the little things – the details and the snippets that bring you and your personalities in to one of the most important days of your lives.

I will tell your story through beautiful candid images, fitting in to your day with the ease and experience which allows you to focus all your energy on enjoying yourself  After all, the day is about you and celebrating the love you have for each other, with each other, and with your friends and family – leaving the job of quietly capturing all the magic off the day to me. I see it as an absolute privilege to be that person and to get to share the moments and the memories with you.

Every wedding and civil partnership is different, maybe you only want a photographer for a few hours and no album, or maybe you want full day coverage, for this reason I offer a bespoke service and will quote specifically for your day and your needs. Please get in touch using the contact link above with as many details as possible about your day and I’ll send you out a brochure and quote.

I offer Beautiful Folio albums as an add on.  Album materials are ethically sourced and handcrafted in the UK, they are square books with either cotton or leather covers…and absolutely stunning!

When not shooting weddings I spend my time working on long term documentary projects, mainly focusing on social and environmental issues, you can take a look at my personal work here – LyndaLaird

The rest of the time I share my love of Yoga by teaching classes in London – soletthesunshine
